  5. I love this. The middle one - kinda looks like Shiala, the one that was slurped up by the Thorian, but she has a rather generic Asari #4 type of face anyway.

  6. Hmm,it could be Shiala.
I wonder if its the asari from the "Revenge Of The Shadowbroker" DLC?

I know i've seen her somewhere and its irritating me.

  8. The other asari is Captain Wasea. I thought it was one of the ones in the quest where you get Samara. Googling the name produces the same image used in the poster. As well as more revealing images of her.

  9. Are these games anything like Knights of the Old Republic? They're frequently compared.

  10. ^ No, not really. I played both and they are not really that similar, IMO. Maybe it's just me, but no.

  11. There are similarities. All are very good games, and Bioware made Knights 1 and these games (and Dragon Age). You can rarely go wrong with a Bioware RPG.
There is a morality scale, but it's not so much light side or dark side - you're still the good guy, but you can be more or less compassionate, etc.
There's no influence like in the second KotOR. There are side quests to complete for loyalty in the second Mass Effect. Your choices throughout ME1 will affect ME2 and ME3. There are decent romances - much better romances than in KotOR 2 (even though I liked KotOR 2 far better than 1).

The mechanics in ME1 are a bit closer to KotOR, with upgrades, etc, you can add to your armor and weapons. The upgrade system is much different in ME2.

IMHO, if you liked the KotOR games, you'd probably enjoy Mass Effect.

Captain Wasea does indeed have one of the more generic Asari faces.
