  1. I love that toddler hair with the little bow headband. And the bridesmaid dress is nice. I like a few items from each set, but there's not one set that really impresses me too much this time.

  2. I'm in love with the Provece's kitchen clutter and those bikes look great.

  3. The bike set is kinda cute...

  4. Oh I like the bikes, and the mirror on the Haute Hip set. It's adorable.

    ReplyDelete
  5. Agreed, the mirror in the Haute Hip set is by far the best (and only part I'd want) in that set.

  6. Mistyk has uploaded all four pay sets here. The versions are unmodified.

  7. Want it all anon? BUY IT!!!!

    ....for 4000 dollars. :(

Looks like you'll have to pirate it.

    ReplyDelete
  8. ^usually i buy everything, i don't really mind paying for stuff from the store. it'll take me a while but i'll get it done

    ReplyDelete
  9. ^Why would you pay for items that you can get for free? Save your money for something else you like or donate it to charity. :)

    ReplyDelete
  10. I like the Simzetta Stone or whatever.

The "Learn your Sim E Zees" thingy is really stupid, though. Simlish characters directly translate to english characters, but there aren't 26 letters on it...

    ReplyDelete
  11. how do you unmodified it? :S cause it doesnt work when i upload

    ReplyDelete
  12. ^i do like buying stuff from the store and i do donate to charity. it's not like i spend my whole check on sims stuff or anything, just fifteen or twenty a month if at all

    ReplyDelete
  13. how do you unmodified it? :S cause it doesnt work when i upload

I'm not sure I quite understand you. "Unmodified" means these sets are the ones directly downloaded from the store and they have not been decrapified or anything (Pescado has said before that you should NEVER share decrapified packages because of the caveats that come with decrapifying). Do you mean it doesn't work when you DOWNload?

Follow the instructions here to turn store .sims3packs into packages. You don't need to decrapify, you only need to recompress using s3rc.

Someone on another post said that they can get store .sims3packs to install through the Launcher using jfade's 3viewer but I wouldn't recommend it because even jfade said awhile ago that he would no longer support it.

You are spending $15 to $20 a month on virtual items? Why?

You are just throwing money away. In this economy, you never know when you could lose your job or become injured and be unable to work.

  15. arrr'ed.... thanks for the link! ♥

  16. juppyduppy, these sets are great! :)

  17. Thanks that was very easy to do! YAY

    ReplyDelete
  18. OMG i love this ^_^ am getting it now :)

  19. Only think I want are the bikes, but 1250 points for that set is ridiculous. Typical of the store though.

    ReplyDelete
  20. For THAT many points for this crap? I don't think so, Tim.

    brb, MATY-ing.

Just to be clear, though, the only way to install ARR'd files through the launcher is through decrapification, meaning that if you don't want to convert them to .package format, you'll need to decrapify them on your own.

True. I'm sorry for not being clear on my previous post.

  23. Ooo, I want the toddler hair. Looks so age appropriate. Thanks EA!

I wish they would create more kitchen cabinets. Would look nice to have French cabinets to go with the set.

Pretty cool stuff, thanks again EA.

  24. For those bitching at people who buy this stuff? How in the world do you expect to arrr anything if someone doesn't buy it? It's like saying "Why should I pay for that candybar when I can just get a 5 finger discount?" Not everyone is a thief. And some of us like to show EA that we support a particular set or item. In that way, they know what items are popular and are probably more likely to make more things along those lines.

You want to arr it? Fine. But don't complain about those who do not. Or you should expect rude comments about thievery right back at you. To each their own :)

  25. Also, the loose curls female hair style looks blah in game :-/ Sits a bit too high and is asymmetrical in an uncute way. It's poofy on the right side. The knotted bun with the barrettes looks good, however.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I pass the files through decrapify, then s3rc, and I receive a message from the launcher saying that I need to update my game. But it is already up to date. Is there anyway to install them without converting to package? thank you

    ReplyDelete
  27. I'm going to have to ask a dumb dumb question. If I get it and it's not been 'decrapified' Can I just run it through Delphy's multi pack installer, change things over to package format and that do the same thing?

    ReplyDelete
  28. "I'm going to have to ask a dumb dumb question. If I get it and it's not been 'decrapified' Can I just run it through Delphy's multi pack installer, change things over to package format and that do the same thing?"

It's not a dumb question. I was confused about this on the set last month; I was wondering why I couldn't just extract the .package files before like I had done with previous sets. The store sets are in a protected format and thus, if you just use Delphy's multi-pack extractor on them and then plop them in your packages folder, then they won't work. When I tried it, I couldn't even load a save because the bar would just get stuck there forever.

So if you only plan on converting the store .sims3packs to packages, all you need to do is drag them over s3rc. Then you can use Delphy's extractor. Recompressing gets rid of the protected format. You absolutely do not need to decrapify unless you plan on trying to get the store sets to install through the Launcher.

  29. I am using the decrapify and they still don't want to install on the launcher :(

  30. I looooooove that low-rider bike or whatever! Of course, it's not worth 200 points. MATY HERE I COME!

  31. If you want a look at the hairs from the Bridal Party set, look here: http://forum.thesims3.com/jforum/posts/list/197474.page

That thread gets updated a lot.

  32. ^ Are you following the new directions @ MATY? Motoki gives detailed instructions and link the text here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,15129.msg540660.html#msg540660

I have no problems getting the arr'ed stuff in the game.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I'm still so very confused on decraping. Reading over instructions at maty ONE more time.

  34. If you are not pretty computer savvy, you can really mess up your game if you screw up the decrapifying process. Not only must you decrapify store items, you must also decrapify your library, saved games, and presets. Thus, if you don't know what you are doing, not getting these store items to install will be the least of your worries.

The simplest method is just to recompress and install them as .package files. If you screw something up there, then you can just take those packages out. But once you've decrapified, there is no going back because you have to decrapify other things as well. So your save games will be permanently and irreversibly altered and so will your library. There really is no reason to decrapify UNLESS you just have to install these items through the Launcher.

    ReplyDelete
  35. Oh, and remember, Pescado has also said that you cannot share decrapified items either.

Read this carefully before you try to decrapify and note the points by Pescado in bold:

    EXPERIMENTAL "DECRAPIFY" OPTION!
Invoke with "s3rc -fD" (fixonly, decrapify) OR "decrapify" (drag/drop FOR TARDS). Should fix all busted s3packs that don't install correctly in the launcher, like those old TSR ones.
    Caveats:
    1. Permanently and irreversibly alters the target package/s3pack. Due to the type of damage involved, the game will see the decrapified object as a seperate object from a non-decrapified object. Any saved game that used these objects or skins will be broken as a result, but...
    2. If you decrapify objects, you must decrapify all of your SAVED GAMES (.nhd & .packages in your .sims3), PRESETS (userPresets.package), and LIBRARY.
    3. DECRAPIFIED saved or exported items containing CRAPIFIED content will malfunction in a non-decrapified install.
    4. THIS PROCEDURE IS EXPERIMENTAL!
    5. decrapify exe requires s3rc exe to be accessible on path.

    THEREFORE:
Do not share decrapified packages, only share original unmodified packages.

  37. Just wait for the package versions.

  38. i'm surprised its actually taking a while to get the bridal party clothing.... hmmm
    unless i missed something

  39. "i'm surprised its actually taking a while to get the bridal party clothing.... hmmm
    unless i missed something"

The bridal party clothing was posted in a link upthread along with the other sets.

"Just wait for the package versions."

Assuming the ones uploading haven't decrapified those packages, which some users tend to do - despite Pescado's warnings.

    ReplyDelete
  40. oh thanks, i'm so impatient today i didnt bother reading all the comments in here.

  41. I might upload my packages that I did. I compressed the sims 3 packs, extracted the packages, then combined the packages.

If anyone feels like doing it themselves:

http://club-crimsyn.dreamwidth.org/28336.html#cutid1 This is the guide for combining packages with s3pe.

When you're compressing a sims 3 packs remember to use the "normal" function and not decrapify. To be honest, it's all really easy after you do it once through. I could probably do this all with my eyes closed by now :P.

    ReplyDelete
  42. I'm actually that anon ^. I just felt like making an account now after I've been lurking forever. ANYWAYS.. I decided to upload all 4 packages, this does not include the free package considering you can just download that from the store for yourself.

    Download is here: http://www.mediafire.com/?3rwhm00cjyne0dw

  43. Thanks Carli you are a sweetie :)

  44. Thanks for going out of your way to do that Carli!

  45. love the ugly bridesmaids dresses. i can see myself making a funny story w/ this

    ReplyDelete
  46. Want those bikes, although the bike racks are kinda weird...

    ReplyDelete
  47. I like the bikes too, but it's all faaaar too expensive to buy... as usual from the store.

I typically feel too guilty to get something without paying for it, but thanks to EA, it feels great to be a pirate! :)

    ReplyDelete
  48. Thanks Carli! I Wish I had seen your post before I had done it all myself, but you've helped me anyway, since I couldn't get the romanza CAS stuff to decrapify properly. :)

    ReplyDelete
  49. The bike set is amazing, and the fugly bridesmaid dresses just rock

    ReplyDelete
  50. Why are you decrapifying them? You don't need to, and shouldn't really if you're just turning them into packages. It's honestly a lot easier to just use the packages than decrapify the item, your library, your saves, etc. just to use a sims3pack.

    ReplyDelete
  51. Carli, you are a goddess. <3

    ReplyDelete
  52. I love the Provence set and the free desk. Those are really nicely done.
I don't feel the need to get any of the rest of the sets, though. The wedding party set is OK, but some of the dresses look a little corny and 18th-19th century.

    ReplyDelete
  53. Bridesmaid dresses are always corny. Haven't you seen My Big Fat Greek Wedding?

    ReplyDelete
  54. I run them through sr3c and decrapify, otherwise you can't merge them with simpe later on. It changes the file type and strips out all the unnecessary crap which speeds up your game. :)

    ReplyDelete
  55. Thank you so much Carli, everything worked very well on my game :)

    ReplyDelete
  56. Nice stuff, but they charge too much money for it.
