The first hair I would never download, but Savio has really improved. I remember his first hair mesh conversion. It looked similar to mine but mine was worse.

raon hais are one of the prettiest hairs ever. but sadly raon died and he didnt converted them to the sims 3. and peggys hairs are awesome too, but she's converting them and she's really good.

If you look at Savio's blog, you can see that the second hair looks much more textured in darker colors. So before you say it needs a retexture, look at the darker colored pictures. But, the first one is a little too "much"?
Trolls and 12's gotta love them. Who cares about the meshers. Well for one thing without meshers there is NO CONTENT NOT EVEN EA CONTENT! Well how about all of us us quit and then there won't be any Sims content at all- not even from EA since their meshers create what comes with the game. Grow up - and as I was told by some little troll yesterday get a life!
Also if you have no constructive criticism, don't say anything at all- didn't your mommies and daddies teach you that when you were 3! Constructive criticism means I don't like the way the hair lies against the scalp, the mesh has gaps in it. Not dis hairz iz uglies can I haz dis other hairs now.
Get the point people- creators create what they want to if you don't like what they create there are free meshing and UVmappin programs - in fact most of the CC creation tools are free and you can download tutorials at Mod the Sims and well learn to do it yourself.

Interesting conversations! I kind of like these Savio. The first one is different and that is what I need in my game. I really like how it shows the layers.
Savio, your hairs are beautiful and tons of other people in the community are using them and love them, so ignore the dumb trolls (where'd they come from anyway?? I never saw a post with so many comments!!) I don't get it: some people don't realize that you are CONVERTING the hairs, not making the meshes. It's not your fault if the hairs are not to some people's tastes, its the original creators who made them after all. In any case, I love your conversions, and your bone assignments are just excellent. Thank you for being a part of the sims community!
I can't really get the hair looking good in lighter colors. Really, nobody can. Not even Peggy. (Her texture are so crappy in lighter colors as well.. imo, of course)
I only convert them. If you don't like the style, then dont download them. Someone else likes it.

Are they Sims 3 Pack files? If so extract them and then run them through Delphy's Blue Lot cleaner. Hairs rarely cause problem with the game though so it could be something else making it crash.
I have a NVIDIA and my computer is fairly new. I just got it about 3 months ago and it was a pretty expensive gaming computer. Maybe its something else, but whenever I go into my game and put this on in CAS, then i go out and my game crashes. The first one is just um.......terrible. But the second one is the one i downloaded and its awesome, but unfortunately it keeps crashing my game so I removed it and I have no problems now

To be honest, while it'll make a lot of anon start screaming their heads off, there was a lot of nice Final Fantasy hairs on MTS- they were actually some of the first meshes made for Sims 2, as well, so it'd be neat from a nostaglic viewpoint as well. Are those off-limits?
Since when is 30 or 40 old? I can't help wonder how old the kids are posting that nonsence. I'm 33. Yep I'm ANCIENT! I walk with a cane, wrap myself up in 5 blankets and turn the heat up to 80, and yell at kids to get the hell off my lawn on a daily basis. Oh and when I went to school I had to walk 5 miles in the snow, uphill, with no shoes and dodge man-eating dinosaurs. *Rolls eyes*
On another note, I really like these, Savio. Especially the second one.
^ If anything, it shows the age of the trolls- when you're below 15 years old, 40 looks far away enough to assume as 'old'. That, and they think that's an original insult to call someone, along with 'fat' and 'has pets' or 'lonely'.
If I were a troll, I'd be much more creative in my insults. :)

I have a NVIDIA and my computer is fairly new. I just got it about 3 months ago and it was a pretty expensive gaming computer. Maybe its something else, but whenever I go into my game and put this on in CAS, then i go out and my game crashes. The first one is just um.......terrible. But the second one is the one i downloaded and its awesome, but unfortunately it keeps crashing my game so I removed it and I have no problems now

ReplyDeleteBtw, if you do take request, will you convert raon's male hair? Because the sims 3 is lack of medium cut male hair, even there are some but it isn't as good as yours..
To be honest, while it'll make a lot of anon start screaming their heads off, there was a lot of nice Final Fantasy hairs on MTS- they were actually some of the first meshes made for Sims 2, as well, so it'd be neat from a nostaglic viewpoint as well. Are those off-limits?

ReplyDeleteSince when is 30 or 40 old? I can't help wonder how old the kids are posting that nonsence. I'm 33. Yep I'm ANCIENT! I walk with a cane, wrap myself up in 5 blankets and turn the heat up to 80, and yell at kids to get the hell off my lawn on a daily basis. Oh and when I went to school I had to walk 5 miles in the snow, uphill, with no shoes and dodge man-eating dinosaurs. *Rolls eyes*
On another note, I really like these, Savio. Especially the second one.

ReplyDelete^ If anything, it shows the age of the trolls- when you're below 15 years old, 40 looks far away enough to assume as 'old'. That, and they think that's an original insult to call someone, along with 'fat' and 'has pets' or 'lonely'.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure this is anything you can fix, but #65 caused my game to crash.
ReplyDeleteI found this out by spending over an hour starting my game with various folders included, until I narrowed it down to this one file.
I don't know if that means there's something wrong with the file, or if it's just my game, but I wanted to let you know, just in case.
Thank you for all the hairstyles! I have many in my game that I have been very happy with :)
