  1. I actually like the style, but am wary of downloading something from TSR. Does the in-game quality check out?

  2. Is there something like this for males?

  3. This is cute. Too bad it's TSR- it's probably crap! I won't even dl their stuff from the booty, because I don't trust them not to virus their content up.

  4. Does the in-game quality check out? - Not exactly, I really liked the preview but deleted it after seeing it in-game :/

  6. "Not exactly, I really liked the preview but deleted it after seeing it in-game :/"

    Why? What's wrong with it?

  7. I like the hairstyle itself, but the execution, not so much. All it might need is a better texture though.

  8. Why? What's wrong with it? - The texture, and it looks really 'flat' and hm, 'gappy' if that makes sense. Was disappointed because it looks quite nice in the pics, and we REALLY need more normal hair styles, with reasonable poly counts, instead of those crazy peggy meshes.

  9. It does need a retexture. Maybe someone over at GOS will make it.

  10. I won't download from TSR, but judging by the pics, the texture looks really, er...greasy? No thanks. It's a very nice mesh though, I hope someone retextures it.

lol it's probably very similar to about a billion people's hair.

I kinda like it. I've found a few decent TSR hairs. Just like in every other download category, they have a couple of talented artists (usually pay( and the rest is utter trash. Unfortunate, but if you're willing to sift through the crap you'll find something nice every now and then.

  14. no thank you....like the style but the texture looks really greasy and gross.

  15. ..what's this about "virused content"?

  16. ^ their site has been known to give people viruses from all the ads and crap. i dunno if the files themselves are safe, but i understand the earlier commenters distrust. tsr's business practices are atrocious. they've already been caught sharing their subscriber's personal information, so i don't trust them either.

  17. wow! that's insane! I'll be staying away too then. will it be safe to get this hair if someone retextures it?

  18. ^Yes...in fact, it's probably even safe to get it from TSR itself, but you never know.

  19. "texture looks really greasy and gross."

That makes it perfect for my trailer trash sims :D (not every sim should be glamourous :P)

  20. The texture looks somewhat ok in my game from the front but as you go around back there are vertical lines down the hair that is pulled back.
This is actually my favorite style in terms of how it frames the face and doesn't hide the ears-- but the shape of the bottom of the hair at the back is very choppy.

Does anyone know if this was ever re-textured or if anyone else has made something similar with more even (thicker looking) hair at the back?

Despite the drawbacks, I'm actually using this on my favorite Sim.

As for the virus thing, I can confirm that TSR does have some very annoying problems with that. I got an extremely malicious and horrible virus from TSR-- it was a FraudWindowsSecurity 2011 one that tried to hijack my Windows Security Center. It took multiple antivirus programs and repeated cleanings and reboots to stop it. Unfortunately there was some residual damage and I can no longer get Google Chrome to work because of it.

It also has hijackers up the wazoo.
